ICA is inviting its members or any professional or institution in the archival and records management sector needing or interested in learning opportunities to take part in a survey on training needs and preferences.  

ICA’s Programme Commission (PCOM) set up the Training Programme in 2017. Since then, learning experiences, preferences and expectations have changed. For this reason, ICA is conducting this survey to assess whether the current priority of developing online courses meets the requirements of its audience or whether it should shift the emphasis to other forms of training and learning delivery. Similarly, ICA is interested in assessing what financial model best benefits its membership. The survey aims to gather data to inform decision making and support planning to ensure that ICA’s training offering meets the needs of its audience. 

The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete, and it is available in English, French and Spanish.

All responses will be treated anonymously. If anyone would like to provide contact details for potential further engagement with the ICA Training Programme, they are invited to do so at the end of the survey where the participants will have an opportunity to register on a reduced rate to three of our current online courses. 

The survey in the three languages will remain open until Sunday, 7 May 2023.
